ABOUT WISDOM WALK UDAIPUR
Udaipur is known for its beautiful lakes, palaces, and art. However, there is a lot of living heritage and culture on it's streets. This walk, with the help of the wisdom of the locals, takes you away from the predictable tourist spots to explore the streets of Udaipur and tell you the stories of its past and present.
In today's dynamic times, as the world searches for answers around sustainability and re-generative lifestyles, we believe that there are, and have always been, resources and guidance available, in our own neighbourhoods and households. Some of the artisans and places we visit on our walks are some of the last remaining ones. We just want to create more space for their voices and ways of being.
WALK OF THE MONTH
Wisdom Walk
On our signature walk, you will witness the wisdom of everyday old city. Meet different artisans, visit the great old Havelis (old mansions), sit by the lakes, devour local street food, study different styles of architecture and urban design and encounter all the everyday magic that happens on the streets of old Udaipur.

DR. NISHTHA JAIN
Nishtha is a certified doctor of Homeopathic Medicine, a Psychologist, and a pursuing Nutritionist. While promoting health and happiness through her work, environment and traditional knowledge have become her main interests.
Being a local of Udaipur, she believes that the city and its communities have a lot of 'food for thought' for people who want to know and learn about it.
She was born and raised in a community which follows Jainism as a religion but she follows the Jain philosophy of 'Non-Voilence', 'Minimalism' and 'Zero-Waste' by choice.
VISHAL SINGH
Vishal is a local and has been working on eco-design and making Udaipur zero-waste. He has been taking travellers, architects, NGOs and students for a walk since the past 10 years on this city's beautiful streets. On every walk he finds something new to learn and that is most inspiring for him.
